Helping Children Build Strong Foundations and Grow in Confidence
Structured, encouraging and personalised tuition for primary-aged children, with support for SATs, 11+, independent-school entrance, secondary transition and KS3.
From building early literacy and numeracy skills to preparing for selective-school entrance, we provide structured academic support across key stages.
Build secure foundations in reading, phonics, spelling, handwriting, number fluency and early problem-solving.
Strengthen English and Maths knowledge, develop reasoning and problem-solving skills, and prepare for Year 6 SATs.
Structured preparation covering English, Maths, verbal reasoning and, where required, non-verbal and spatial reasoning.
Focused support in English, Maths, reasoning and written work according to the requirements of the relevant school.
Help pupils bridge the gap between Year 6 and Year 7, strengthening essential skills and developing confidence, organisation and independent learning.
Support for Years 7–9 to strengthen core skills, close learning gaps and build confidence as subjects become more demanding.
Every child learns differently. Our aim is to help pupils develop secure knowledge, greater confidence and the independent learning skills they need to make progress.
We primarily support primary-school-aged children, while also providing transition and KS3 support for older pupils.
Our preferred approach is small-group tuition, where children benefit from focused teaching, discussion, shared problem-solving and healthy academic challenge. One-to-one tuition is also available where a pupil needs more individualised support or targeted intervention.
Teach. Practise. Review. Reinforce.
Bright Foundations Learning uses a hybrid approach that combines direct teaching, books, digital practice, online tools and original learning resources. New concepts are explained clearly, pupils practise what they have learned in different ways, and their work is reviewed to identify areas that need further attention.
Small steps. Big progress.
Clear teaching and guided practice.
Textbooks, workbooks and extra practice materials.
Online exercises and worksheets.
Extend learning beyond the lesson.
Targeted worksheets and practice challenges.
Identify gaps and revisit key areas.
Our programmes are suitable for families looking for consistent academic support, preparation for
SATs or selective-school entrance, help with the transition into secondary school, or continued
support during KS3. The exact combination of small-group teaching, one-to-one support, books,
digital resources and worksheets is adjusted to the pupil’s needs
